Kate Ibeanusi – Founder/ Board Secretary Kate Ijeoma Ibeanusi is the Founder and current Board Secretary of Initiative for Sustaining Family Unity - IforSFU. The vision to set up a family service oriented organisation was conceived in the late 90’s following series of personal experiences that pointed to the need for a support system to families going through challenges and transition. Kate has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She has an MA in African Studies with specialty in Applied Anthropology from the same University. She obtained a Diploma in Development Leadership from the Coady International Institute- St Francis Xavier University, NS Canada and a Certificate in Social Sector Management with emphasis on Transformational Leadership from the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan African University, Lagos. Since 2008, Kate has worked in the field of advocating for the rights of women, girls and children in Nigeria. She has provided a wide range of services to abused women and young girls in need of access to justice, medical care and rehabilitation while working with Project Alert on Violence Against Women. In recognition of her efforts at addressing issues of Gender-Based Violence with specific interest on women, girls and children, she was honoured with the Katherine Fleming International Development Award in 2014 at the Coady Institute. She worked with Prisoners Rehabilitation and Welfare Action- PRAWA and rose to the position of Assistant Director, Institutional Support to pay more attention to personal development and running the organisation. She has been exposed to trainings in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) as well as project management. She began her work life as a HSE and Social Impact Assessment (SIA) personnel for the oil and gas industry. Kate is a Junior Fellow of the International Peace Institute New York and a current Fellow on Peace and Security for African Women at the African Leadership Centre/Kings College.

Mr. Benjamin Odeh is a Faculty at the Lagos State Multi-door Court House under the justice for all programs Component 2.3 sponsored by the British Council on access to justice by the poor and vulnerable in the Society. Mr. Odeh has been privileged to have worked in numerous Law Firms where they have distinguished themselves securing ground breaking rulings and judgments for the Client’s firms at both the High and appellate Courts. Mr. Benjamin Odeh was part of the group that got the first court rulings on the new Domestic Violence Law of Lagos State, 2007 and the Law to enforce the Rights of the Child under the Child’s Right Law of Lagos State, 2007. Uchechuchukwu Utah, is a graduate of Linguistics from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria with an MBA from Delta University of New Orleans. She is a seasoned Administrator with vast working experience in operational Administration/Human Resource Management. Uchechukwu has had the opportunity to work and serve in numerous Firms ranging from multinationals, NGO’s, and Private and Public sector organizations in Nigeria where she has distinguished herself as reliable and disciplined personnel with unique leadership style. She has attended trainings in Human Resource Management, Administration/ Office Management, Project Management in reputable institutions in Dubai, London and Lagos where she acquired requisite competence for Administration and Business Management. She is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and currently a student member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management.
Anne Omonemi Ivare

Anne Omonemi Ivare is trained pharmacist with over … years of professional service. She holds a B.Pharm degree from the University of Benin. Upon graduation, she worked with the Shell Development Company and the Central Bank of Nigeria clinics at different times before she ventured into her own business. With interest in community pharmacy, she runs Celenes Pharmacy as the CEO. She currently provides individual and group consultancy and healthcare advice on general wellness .
Dayo Awude

Hon. Awude graduated from the University of Ibadan with a B.A in Archaeology and Masters in Management Psychology (MMP). He is a certified Public Relations practitioner with vast experience working in the public sector. He was the Director of Public Relations at the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba and has served as the Chief of Protocol to the Ondo State Governor from Feb 2009 – February 2013. He served as Chairman, Ondo State Scholarship Board between November 2013 and July 2015. He was one of the distinguished speakers at the 2014 edition of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, held in Bonn, Germany. Dayo Awude is currently serving as the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports. Dayo is a prolific writer with several books to his credit.

Nkechi Angella Agumanu Nkechi studied English/Secretarial Studies from the College of Education, Warri after which she proceeded for a B.A. Ed degree in English & Literary Studies from the Delta State University, Abraka. She is a CIA certified administrator and has over 12 years of experience working as a Secretary.
Abimbola Okoya

Abimbola Okoya Abimbola studied Business Administration in the UK. She also has an MSc in Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility as well as an MA in Marketing Management from UK and US institutions. She is a CIM certified marketer with over 13 year’s professional experience with both Nigerian and Multinational organizations. She has worked with the public and private sector on projects related to the Nigerian “Support – A – School” programme and is also a World Bank trained development facilitator. She is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of AOMS Marketing Solutions and has worked with various stakeholders in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, South Africa, UK, US, Switzerland, etc.
